Usage / Feature CHR 2275-2 is designed to be used as a high-temperature "roller wrap" tape in the production of polyethylene/polypropylene laminates. During this process, the plastic is extruded onto a substrate as it passes through a number of rolls. The tape is wrapped around the rolls to protect the exposed ends of the rollers from the molten plastic, thus preventing build-up of the plastic on the roll surface. The high-temperature capabilities and exceptional durability of 2275-2 enables the tape to be used for long continuous laminating production runs. CHR 2275-2 can also be used to fabricate belts used in laminating applications as well as other applications that require the temperature and release properties of the tape.
